Madras cotton tops and dresses, cut as everyday western wear. Madras check is yarn-dyed cotton, handloom woven in Tamil Nadu: the checks and stripes we grew up around. Before someone overseas turns it into a luxury trend, we would rather wear it ourselves first. So here it is as a striped office top, a gingham peplum, bell sleeves and a midi for summer.
